Teresa Alesch up against hundreds of authors worldwide for prestigious Author Academy Award

EMMETSBURG, Iowa – July 13, 2018 – PRLog — “Broken to Brave: Finding Freedom from the Unlived Life” written by Emmetsburg resident, Teresa Alesch, has been nominated for a 2018 Author Academy Award, an honor bestowed for literary merit and publishing excellence in the writing and publishing industry.

Teresa’s book which is up for an award in the General Non-Fiction category is a heartfelt account of her life as an educational leader as she deals with her life-threatening cancer diagnosis and that of her father’s while touching on the death of her beloved uncle, her brush with suicide, and her battle through depression and anxiety.
