I wrote “Broken to Brave” for anybody in the midst of adversity or enduring times of struggle—be it mental, emotional, physical, financial, relational, or other.
There is a way out.
There is a way to overcome any obstacle in your life and learn how to thrive. There is a path from Broken to Brave.
Let me ask you:
Would you like to embrace reality and accept your purpose? Could your life become more fulfilling if you could acknowledge your strengths and give yourself permission to grow? What if you could learn how to live in the moment without the weight of the past and future? What if you could identify self-destructive thoughts and actions so they no longer consume you?
It’s all possible. I’ve lived it.
Is this another one of those self-improvement books? It’s not. To understand how this book can help you, you need to know what lead me to write it.
I always thought I had an idea of who I was and what I stood for.
But after hearing the life-altering, world-crashing, soul-rearranging words, ……….You have cancer,’ life forced my hand. I had to stop thinking, and start being BRAVE.
This book is not just about breast cancer. It’s also more than self-improvement tips. You’ll find that my story connects cancer, loss, suicide, ADHD, and guilt with being captive in a self-sabotaging and disengaged mind.
Have you ever thought about your last day? Where it would end? And how you would end it? I answered these questions, and now tell my story in hopes you never consider questions like these. Ever.
I created my own prison during and after my breast cancer treatment, one bar at a time. I created a miserable life, filled with anger, anxiety and sadness. But then I broke out of the prison I’d created. If you need to, you can too.
Broken to Brave is about overcoming self-destruction, and discovering your own keys to brave. It’s about living life on your terms.
